Paper Sweeties September Inspiration Challenge #25 - 'Holiday Joy'

November first brings us a new challenge at Paper Sweeties. Now that Halloween is behind us, it's time to prepare for Christmas, especially if you're a card maker.

You've probably already started your Christmas cards if you're making them yourself. Why not make one inspired by the photo below and link it up to the challenge? What do you have to lose? You have one more card made and you could win a gift certificate to the Paper Sweeties store!

Here's a card I made inspired by the photo. The colors, the word Joy and the jingle bell inspired me. I made the background by stamping the word Joy onto the card base with Versamark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder before distressing it with a really soft sage color.

I used the coordinating Joy die to cut out the word for the tag and dangling from that satin bow are some rustic jingle bells, which you can find in the store!

Please visit the rest of the design team's blog and then get started on your card!
