Springtacular Hop with AJVD

Spring is almost here!! It's been a very long and very cold winter here in Ohio. I am ready for spring, and when it arrives, I will take walks, drive with my windows down and the radio turned up, lift the blinds and let the sunshine in!! The sentiment on the top card says it all. It's natures way of saying "Let's Party!"

I made two cards for this hop. The one directly below uses daisies from the newly released Flutters and Flowers set designed by our newest team member and licensed illustrator, Lisa Lara. I used Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol oil to color the daisies and the bee, which is from the Bee Happy set. I "stole" the sentiment from yet another set called {SEED}iments. Like the skunk? He's a brad from the Eyelet Outlet!! The yellow ribbon and gems finish off the card. It's bright, it's happy, it's springy and it says "Let's Party!"

 

The party isn't over yet. I made another card using the Peepster set. I love this little bunny peeking his little head and big ears into the different colored blocks. He cracks me up! He's ready to party, too!! Hee hee.
