Inspired by Sophie Theallet

 Inspiration is all around us. I've found it everywhere from product packaging to iPhone cases to store displays. Today, my inspiration came from the runway. Specifically, a dress by designer Sophie Theallet, who is the featured designer on the Runway Inspired Challenge.

As you can see, I was inspired by the rich colors with the black patterns.

It may look like I cut patterned paper into strips and adhered them onto the card, but I did not. Instead, I used solid card stock in various colors and hand stamped the patterns. Though each pattern is very different, I used stamps from the same set on each piece of paper, as well as the flower. All the stamps came from the Hennah Elements set by Altenew. I love the versatility of this set!
