Pink Frosting

Hi everyone. This post isn't about pink frosting at all. If you look at my project, you'll see there is not much pink and absolutely no frosting on it. So why did I call this post Pink Frosting? Well, it's because I am posting one project for two design teams - Pink by Design and Frosted Designs. Put them together and what do you get? Pink Frosting! LOL!

The card below uses a sweet sentiment from Pink by Design. It is part of the Rain of Shine set. The "rainbow" is created with grossgrain ribbon. I cut off about two inches in each color, folded them in half and adhered them together with Ailene's Tacky Glue. Then, I tucked them under the blue cardstock, and adhered it onto the base of the card.  Believe it or not, I found the patterned paper at Tuesday Morning. A while ago, I happened upon a ton of crafting supplies for cheeeeeaaaap!! Score!!

Not only am I using a Pink by Design stamp, but I'm also using the sketch for Frosted Designs sketch challenge, which starts today. You are invited ... no, wait .... encouraged ... to participate. Just create a card using the sketch below and post it to the Frosted Designs sketch challenge blog here.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting, friends!! ♥
